I've just taken up exploration as a profession recently and have kept a log of the signature names I find, and what type of site they are (RADAR, LADAR, Combat, Mag, Grav, WH) and I was wonder if anyone compiled a list of sites by name/type somewhere? I guess a better question is, if a site is tagged as ABC-123 and it is a wormhole, will ABC-123 always be a wormhole (even a year later in another section of space)?

No, they will not be the same. They are randomly generated id's and will be renewed at DT. However the strenght of the signature will be about the same, if your using the same ship next time.

This link has a list of most of the exploration sites. If you find one not listed, feel free to add it to the evelopedia.

What he said^
Living in a WH, we have to keep updating BMs daily.
The "ABC-123" changes during downtime. So every day, you have to send out 2au probes to each BM and see what the new ID is. And then you find out what's despawned since yesterday, and start identifying the new stuff.
A little tedious, but ehh... -
