Warp Core Stabilizers are currently spat upon for reasons I honestly don't understand. Sure, there's a sig radius bonus, but there's also one for shield extenders/rigs. Yeah, they can be overwhelmed, but so can any other countermeasure.
I remember having a lot of fun in an Abaddon with warp core stabs. I got something like thirty guys on me through three systems and a lot of warps.

And the fit worked, I was just stupid in it and kept warping to planets instead of gates. They won't get you through a gatecamp, but they stop tackling altogether. ---------

If that's what you do for fun, go for it.
But was there any other point (pun not intended) here? Woot, make a ship very hard to catch in low sec and see who follows you until a HIC shows up and you get wtfpwnd?

you can only use 1 ecm burst at a time, I learned that the hard way (luckily it was on sisi) but I really wish my ecm disco scorp worked (take that RR blob!)

The point, or rather question, I'm trying to pose here is, why don't people like warp core stabs? I've heard rumors that once they were less hated for some reason.
And I was trying to get into Stain by way of HED-. It was lulzy. ---------

1 Is pointless to have, you need atleast 2 and with two fitted you don't have locking range or locking time to kill anything, sure on a hauler they work but on anything other then a disco ship you can't pvp in it.

Ah, so they are situational. See, I've only heard flat-out hate for them. Don't even see them in useful situations, i.e. any situation where you're trying to avoid a fight. Perhaps it's just conditioning. ---------

Herp, thanks for pointing that out, forgot to write down the targeting cuts as well. I think it's both, at least. The situations they're best used in don't change for me, though. ---------

I use them frequently for courier missions. I jumped into a gate camp with my industrial just yesterday and was saved the insurance mail because I'd thought to fit stabs.

WCS are looked down upon by some people, quite frankly I think it's silly.
For instance, why shouldn't you fit WCS on a smartbomb-BS?

Well here are a few reasons:
1600 Plate? Suit case? EANM? RCU(to fit another plate)?
All those reasons would be why I wouldn't fit WCS.
The reason some people whine/gripe/moan about WCS is the same reason some people will SD a carrier.

You can easily fit a tank and good resists against the flavour of smartbomb you're using and stillhave room for a WCS or two.
