Edited by: Tyrrax Thorrk on 01/01/2005 21:49:52 If he paid after he was already being podded then it's not Will's fault.
That said I personally would repay the isk, but maybe Will's poor or something and isk matters more than honor to him.
Topic should read; Don't pay Will slowly !

Ugh I'm glad I don't have the retarded monkey idiot Mercenery Forces in my employment history. Mercenery Frigates had class, sad to see you become the lowest of scum scraping the bottom of the swamp. Just FYI MF has made it onto my permanently KOS list. (ooh scary!).
Edit; I'm sure most of you are still cool, however the corp damn well isn't and if I had stayed in Mercenery Frigates and somehow miraculously was still a member, I'd pod Will myself, and anyone else who treated his own corp's and corpmates reputation like total ****.

Kendar, even if you have just standard mods, nothing tech 2 or named, then it's still worth it to pay 30 mil for a tier 1 BS.
I believe 30 mil is what they often charge for tier 2 BS in fact, so you save a lot of isk and time shopping/building/refitting...
Paying the ransom is practical and best for all involved parties. Especially considering how many people have full heads of insanely expensive implants.

Once you have someone locked down you can take as much time as you want to ransom. Backup arriving to help you out usually just means more people for the pirates to ransom/kill.
Someone like me who is ancient, rich and likely to be implant filled would have to pay more most likely than someone who's 2 weeks old in an osprey, no matter what ship I was flying.
A pirate who ransoms regularly will know approximately how much to ask a cruiser pilot for, based on the age, corp and manner of the victim. Rude victims will get killed rather than ransomed as a rule... Frigate pilots will usually not get the option of paying a ransom, not enough isk to be had from someone flying something totally disposable, pods can be worth over 500 million isk to the victim, so they often get ransomed.
