Have you tried re-installing and re-patching the client?

do you get a bluescreen or does the system just restart ?

Perhaps your power supply unit can't handle the requirements of new gfx card? Or did you upgrade it too?

Edited by: Player One on 08/01/2005 17:21:24 dl and install riva tuner and test the standard settings 350 - 700mhz. if you get an error message like "couldnt test current settings, memory clock to high" return the card and get a new one. check the forums of your gfx manufactor.

Does anyone have an answer for this? If my mouse and keyboard are inactive for a short time, I am "lost connection to server". This started right after the last patch BEFORE exodus. I thought perhaps it was something I had done with my firewall or something, so I went through everything and made sure all my time outs were very high.
Why does the game seem to log some people off after a period of inactivity? Also it is not consistent, sometimes I'll come back and I'm NOT logged off? Wierd. Game logs me off multiple times a day now, like if my hauler is slow moving toward and ore field I log off, if I sit in a station it logs off, if I am just not hitting the mouse or keyboard something times out.
Please, what could it be? Can we fix it? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks |
