This is probably premature, but you never know if we'll get these again.
You should look at these points as "free skill TIME" and therefore put them into whatever you're not mapped into at the moment, in order to get more time for the same amount of points.
That's all.
edit: obviously a bunch of exceptions, like don't get stuff that you're going to remap to later, or stuff that you don't need... but in general I think this applies.

that would be interesting, one of the things that i see the most about new players with trial accounts, is that they loose interest after a wile, because they feel they can't do almost anything with the few skills they have ... of course, it's always good for something, but some basic stuff takes to long for a new player, wile a experient player already knows what to train and how to train faster.
still, some balance might be necessary.
now, it would also be nice, to have some SP bonus, where a player that had his account active around that period, could have a prise of extra SP, noting to much but something that would help train that last LVL 5 on that skill section :)
like 50k - 100k extra SP at each 2, 3 or 4 months ...
