EVE is a dark and gritty universe, but that doesn't mean the forums have to be! More than ever GD needs a real luv thread, and here it is. So thank you CCP for:
Unified Inventory - As a trader/hauler/manufacturer the new inventory has made my job waaay easier. Dealing with all those cans in one window is such a breeze.
V3 Skins - Sexy ships are sexy! I love the new T1 Minmatar skins and really like the camo. Digicamo CNR makes me wish I flew Caldari.
Mining Buff - Since I always mine alone in grav sites, I doubt I'll notice the EHP buff, but its definitely a good direction giving all the ships roles. I'm pretty pumped at the new options I'll have now. Any chance on a reskin for the existing barges to match that new mining frigate?
Missile Turrets - Coupled with the new miss effects, they definitely made the ATX really fun to watch. I'm really thinking I'll be cross-training Caldari in the near future.
ISD V2 - I find their witty quips as they close nonsense threads to be quite entertaining. I hope I get a good one if this thread gets locked.
And there you have it; just a short list of things but maybe it'll help get a positive aura going in here... Furthermore, I will personally 'like' every post in this thread - even the trolls!

The previous graphics updates (to space) overall were excellent! A tad bright, but still the update was a good one.

Unfortunately it would seem that players are alot more likely to create a thread expressing their animosity over something they hate, then joy over something they love.

that would be because when things are going right, people are too busy to post how much they need a box of tissues while they play.
however when things aren't working properly you want them fixed so you come and tell ccp it's broke.

CCP Rocks. Nuff said.
Sure they have things we can jump on them for when they are slacking in certain areas, but in the end, its absolutely amazing what they have accomplished.
Just the way scanning/probing works and how you can find things out there is just amazing - I cannot imagine what it takes on the back end for something like that to work as well as it does. And thats just a drop in the ocean ow awesomeness.
This is why I donate monthly to CCPs cause.

I love this thread. We act like monkeys on GD (well some of us do, myself included) but don't give CCP the love and hugs they deserve. This is a great game. I mean, Internet ship spinning. Where else you gonna get that?

Not quite as annoying as the 'Avatar above me' threads, but pretty close.
And they make for incredibly dull reading. At least pointless hate/rage threads are amusing.

I don't complain (outloud) about some of the changes made since I have been playing. This is an alt that is the same age as the main, so I haven't been around long enough yet.  I love this game because you can do anything you want to do if you are willing to pay the price for it. I live in Hi sec, been to low sec, done some shootin', got shot at,blown up and podded home. Love it. Keep up the good stuff.

GJ CCP after all we all love you. Some just cant show it openly.
Liked new skins especially of T2 ships and those of Angel cartel. Imho they could do better bout both Amarr and Minmatar T1. Ammar could be a bit brighter and Minmatar a bit more redish (rustish).
Liked the Nebulas and the new positioning of the gate. So much more immersive.
Liked the new UI. Really good for daily stuff when used to it. Needs a bit more of improvement but overall not a bad idea.
Liked the new BCs.
The minning changes are always welcome. Drone region, now barges...good, good stuff
And liked the tones of small UI changes that happened past 2 expansions.
If CCP manages to make minning and exploring not so boring and a bit more profitable. And to do smth about missions, adding new arcs, give some group missions or anomalies to do together (around 10) smth like static anomalies.
EVE would be the best game out there for sure and would attract quite few new players. Those d be poor content boost for hardcore and especially for more casual players. |
