Krashing	Posted - 2010.10.02 15:05:00 - [8] Just got back after a year and was moving some cruiser bpo and stuff in an itty mk 2. Got ganked in Sivala (or something). The guy must have been quite happy i guess, dropped +-500mil. But **** happens and ive learned from it :)

We were in 6 or 7 ships all packed close to the Orca using the corp hangar to unload. A disco-phoon warped in and managed to pop 2 retrievers and their pilots pods. Mack went down to 1/3 armor, Hulks and Orca barely felt it. From then on we used cans and a tractor on Orca. All ships are separeted by at least 5 km.

What you do, is sit close together like that, supertank the hulks, and fit 1 laser and smartbombs. When they come to disco, you disco right back... Left for half an hour or so, came back and I was sitting in Jita at a gate, with 50% of my hull gone, and all my armor gone. I was carrying about 500 mil in Caldari Navy stuff. Chainsaw Plankton IDLE GUNS IDLE EMPIRE	Posted - 2010.10.02 20:44:00 - [18] I've yet to be suicide ganked I have however suicide ganked: a bestower carrying a bit over 1b in factiony stuff, a lot of it was in a can and went pop heron that was carrying 500m worth of tags, was all in one stack and went pop CNR with lots of shiny bits Golem also with lots of shiny bits I disco'd a Dramiel in Jita (and a bunch of other ships too) and a few more I get bored quickly and forget about ganking for a few weeks/months

If disco ball = SB... then he did. I looted his wreck and he dropped 2 EM large SB's. I never used those to kill anyone, but I don't think he would have popped the ships AND the pods with one blow. I think you need 2 for that. Anyway, I always put an EM screen on my industrials... just in case ;o)

I bought it in a station that didn't have insurance so the first thing I did was set a course to the next system to go insure it then fit it. I got ganked as soon as I undocked in an unfitted, uninsured, empty ship. I'm not sure who ended up with the worse end of the deal. The standings hit for crap salvage took longer to recover I'm sure

Had an insured raven that I had no use for, blew up some random hauler on the off chance of making more money than selling the ship, someone else ninja'd the loot before my mate could scoop it though. Fail I also blew up an anathema in jita cos I was bored, smart bombs took out the pod too. Unfortunately I had no space for the 2 cap armor reppers and 1 cap remote repper. Win some, draw some (I wouldn't call it a loss as such).
