Today, while in Jita I was convoed by the CEO of a corp called "Goonswarm Federation Official Recruitment."
Right off the bat I knew something was wrong. The first wrong thing was that the corp wasn't in Goonwaffe [CONDI] and the second thing was that it had GoonSwarm all over it. It is no longer GoonSwarm, but GoonWaffe.
They are charging 50mill to join them. I think its a new and interesting scam for sure. They even have the same symbol. Just be careful

Thats the funny part. GoonWaffe does recruitment scams as well, but this is just some highsec carebear noob wanting to make a few ISKies. Props for originality however.

I don't get where you people get the crazy idea that GoonWaffe are scammers. They're just a nullsec-holding space entity like any other. These accusations only imply that said person that is reporting a 'scam' did not get accepted into the glorious entity that is GoonWaffe and is attempting a scandal to try and expose them to be something they are not.

I think it's funny they're from the s a forums. It's the tamest wannabe edgy site out there. First off all you have to pay to be a member LOL and you see people getting b& for posting things which can barely be construed as even remotely offensive. The comments on newspaper articles are more hardcore than sa. Also, this hole myth that you can be rasist on sa... nope. They are African Americans.

Yeah, my alt got invited to this channel also, now knowing how goons operate you know this is a scam. But the alt they invited i was using to advertise my lotto at the time. So i figured i would spam their recruitment channel until i get kicked. Well im still in their and have made over 250 mil spamming my lotto... Swoop

So there are people that are willing to pay to become Goon members?
Maybe they should try applying for some renter alliance where the rip off comes while you farm to pay the rent,or perhaps a "leet" sov holding alliance to give you the great gaming content of watching black screens or those famous "we need that moon so the alliance leaders can have more ISK CTAs".
Goons are horrible and stuff but at least they skip the part of finding tools for the game play of a few and a smart player might get a clue before wasting more valuable things than ISK.

I heard you first have to be member of the something awful forums for 10 years and had to have sex with an existing Goon member's relative (up to the second degree) and walk their dog every day for 3 months before they even consider you :-/
