From what I have seen of -G-, they can kick you arse pretty much when they want to when they are online in force.
Good PvP force, and very deadly.

They're germans, it's all about efficiency and honour to them. Mentality. They want to show how they kick ass on even numbers. If they see themselves outblobbed, they will log off to quickly strike later, that's the art of war. Not lame, but smart tbh. In senseless death there is no honour. Bring even numbers and I bet you'll get a fight, if you outblob them heavily they might even get insulted by your lack of fair play.
Yes, I do know, I have played the mmog Jumpgate with ~50% germans for 3 years. And it was always that way. Btw I'm german too. |

But it is a ******* lame out of game mechanic (that CCP is 100% happy with ). I think CCP should start making the NPC's log off when they are getting beaten, after all it is a perfectly acceptable tactic.

NPCs do "log off" when they are getting beaten sometimes.
That proves you're right, it is a perfectly acceptable tactic

German or not its a lame exploit of the game mechanics that ccp WILL NOT address. And btw I love how you are honorable enough to post with your main character. You know since your german and everything. Efficiency and mentality for teh win.

Ok normally the [G] fleet is gathering in the early evening.
After that we are looking around for some enemies. Yesterday we found around 15 BNC ships, which where taking over a station. As they saw us, they warped to a save spot. We tried to scan them, but they where out of range.
Ok, after 2 hrs, we went back to c4c. Cuz is was past midnight (and believe it or not some of us have to work next day) around 2/3 of our fleet goes offline. So only 20-25 [G] ships left in c4c.
After a while the heroic fleet of BNC/NM/KR0M jumped in with ~50 ships. (Seems they need always around 3-4 hrs to manage their fleetÆs together).
However we tried one attack to the entry gate, but the fleet already left from there. Ok, after that motivation goes a little low. And tomorrow is an other dayà.
Thats all...

Our corp has been trying to talk to G Alliance, but the contacts I have there are never online....
((So logging off tactics are lame and practioners should be chastised? Fair enough, but some folks protest too much.
Actions speak louder than words. I'd like to see some folks lead by example. How about we start by hearing Krom, BNC and Evol top brass denounce the tactic and for any of their members who do it, admit it and leave their corp.))

Logging off to save a ship is LAME but logging off because you are out numbered 2 to 1 is not some people have better things to do in life than sit there and listen to you lot smack it up

Let's do the math here, shall we? You claim 2/3 of your fleet logged leaving 25 online. So you must've had 75 ships.
With those 75 ships you tried to take on a fleet of 15 bnc members.
Try bringing a bit less next time?

Don't get it, what's bad about logging out and doing something else when you're hard outnumbered. It's your enemies' own fault if they don't get a fight then. 
Ah btw Germany is gmt +1 so we're one hour ahead, school and work begins mostly at 7am throughout the nation. So you usually log off to go to bed at 22pm to get 8 hours of sleep, that is 21 gmt for everyone else. If you want to live healthy sometimes 21pm which translates into 20pm gmt for the 9 hours of sleep.

now here is the problem .. I repsect STV.. good bunch of guys.. but are you on *****?.. you guys brought around a 40 man fleet to take on less than 20.. darn right we safe spotted. But not less than an hour or so later we showed up in C4c with about the same numbers you showed in VFK and you guys safe spotted and logged after about 20 mins of us sitting on your station in c4c.
another tid bit is you guys spent maybe a half an hour in vfk.
If you are gonna report this kind of stuff just stay off the boards.
Yet agian I must say I like STV they are a good bunch of guys. But reporting incorrect stuff like this is just not right.
I cant wait till our fleets meet. Its gonna be one heck of a light show.
