Ok I dont ever post whine threads but come on... Used to be a time I could roll into any hot missioning spot and ninja salvage level 4 missions from carebears and come out with about 5-10 million worth of stuff in about a 20.
Past few months Im definatly noticing that when I salvage mission stuff that Im not getting anywhere near that much isk. I put a lot of time into developing my scanning skills, and finding the right areas to go hunting and Im not getting the reward like I used to.
Whats going on here? Its almost becoming not worth it anylonger.
CCP Im taking you to task on this.

I've found the same. And it wasn't when they applied a patch or expansion, it was just out of the blue a few weeks back.
It's still happening for me, almost every level 4 is yielding less than a couple of mil in salvage, and vastly reduced volumes of loot.

Yes, you're hiding behind CONCORD as you take salvage, yet they're carebears.

Try doing something actually profitable with your scanning skills ?
Ninja salvaging never very profitable anyway, i dopnt do many missions but it always made me laugh when one of these bottom feeders managed to find my mission and lock me lol

No. Ninja salvaging has not been nerfed.
The salvage market isn't quite where it used to be, though.

Ya its much less. I just managed to track down I think pirate invasion sansha and I only got like 5 melted caps and 12 armor plates. that mission would usually give me twice that amount.
sucks.
And to those who have issues with ninja salvagers... its a way to make isk. I take my time, learned how to probe out good missions, and find them and salvage them. Always a risk that a sansha frigate could target me and destroy me.

Funny how shooting the ninja's will cause you to pop. How in the heck does that make the missions runners carebears? Trust me...if I didn't get a concorde pop...i'd pull the trigger. Oh wait, I mission on low sec...

Ohhhhh Tippia. My dearest darling, ninja'ing was nerfed big time. We've already been through this discussion. Granted if you want to be technical about terminology the salvaging aspect hasn't changed much but the looting aspect was seriously hobbled.
If you were focusing on large wrecks only salvaging and looting you are basically nerfed back to the days when Eve was new and novel and you weren't making that much isk.
If you're still ninja salvaging/looting, were smart enough to focus on large wrecks and ignore the rest then it is no longer an adequate stream of income. Find something else. Luckily I was able to roll my total wealth at the time into commodities taking advantage of changes to the market from Tyrannis thereby catapulting myself into a new and grandiose endeavor.

Erm yes considering salvaging is a profession in exactly the same way as mining is, why shouldn't they have CONCORD protection from those mean missioners while they do so? Are you saying salvaging wrecks in space is an illegal act somehow?

Learn to read. He is pointing out that a carebear is calling someone a carebear. There is nothing ninja about it.
