How come missiles seem to "jump" forward instead of smoothly swooping towards the target?

I want to be able to edit posts without the "edited by blah blah on blah blah" thingy too, since I probably have the highest ratio of edited posts vs not edited posts on the forum.
damn I did it again 
...and again : the annoying part isn't the "edited by blah blah" thingy, it's the fact that to not have 10 of them I have to delete that part every time I edit a post. I should probably send a feature request about that somewhere...
...and new makes more sense than nej, that's true

i think they are faster than the eve client shows. after some seconds this has to be adjusted, so they jump to their "real" position on the screen.
just an idea though ;)
