I am looking to get a set of foot pedals for use with Ventrillo. Essentially for hands free push to talk.
Does anyone have a set they can recommend? I'd prefer to spend less than $50 on it if at all possible.
Also does anyone know if this works without the kit it is upgrading.
Thanks in advance.

In the technical details it sais it connects to the force speed thingy - not the computer.
Tried dictaphone pedals - or even midi piano pedals?. I would guess they are seperate entities which connect directly into USB. Does ventrillo take inputs other than keyboard + mouse? guess it must...
Aaaanyway - as much help as an Elephant in an Air Balloon.

Edited by: RubenX on 05/10/2010 09:31:22 I did a gig for a "transcription office" some time ago. They have foot pedals with a usb cable. They come with a small software that maps the pedal to any key on the keyboard, ergo, able to work with any transcription software.
I believe they always have a minimum of 2 pedals on those units... one to rewind the recording and the other one to fast-forward it. But they are really cheap, in the $25 to $40 USD range. I foresee no problems mapping one of those transcription usb pedals to your push-to-talk key on vent or ts.
EDIT: I looked it up... seems the company making them was Scythe. Google it as Scythe USB Foot Pedal...

get a cheap racing wheel/pedal combo....logitech G25 is within your budget...
Just use those....
Could also get another mouse glue a ricer on it and then make som sort of pedal...just place it on a piece of plywood....
But why not get a G500 that worked for me
and i got mine for 49$ including shipping (way back when it came out)
