Lately Ive been experiencing weird timers, usually after undocking and having changed ship. Example me undocking in a Paladin:
------------------------------------------------------------ Gamelog Listener: Faquarl Session started: 2010.09.29 17:00:40 ------------------------------------------------------------ [ 2010.09.29 17:01:58 ] (notify) Warping to Stargate (MSHD-4) [ 2010.09.29 17:02:36 ] (notify) Can't do that while undocking.
You should be squeezed out in 51 seconds. [ 2010.09.29 17:02:38 ] (notify) Can't do that while undocking.
You should be squeezed out in 49 seconds. [ 2010.09.29 17:02:58 ] (notify) Can't do that while undocking.
You should be squeezed out in 29 seconds. [ 2010.09.29 17:03:02 ] (notify) Ship stopping [ 2010.09.29 17:03:18 ] (notify) Can't do that while undocking.
You should be squeezed out in 9 seconds. [ 2010.09.29 17:03:41 ] (None) Jumping to Stargate (H-W9TY) in MSHD-4 solar system
im very impatient, ****ed off, sitting vulnerable at a stargate in 0.0 in a 1b ship due to a timer I dont know about. At 17:01:58 I initate warp, and at 02:36 I try jump. So theres at least 38 seconds between undock and jump as the undock timer began before I initiated warp. In total from undock untill jumping out I had to wait from 01:58 until 03:27 so thats 1 minute and 29 seconds in space. Lets assume that after 5 seconds-undock timer I started the warp. That reduces the time to 64 seconds in space waiting for a timer. What is this timer? On noticing the header of the log, the session started at 17:00:40. Thats even 1m18 seconds before I even started the warp.
Another log but docked:
------------------------------------------------------------ Gamelog Listener: Faquarl Session started: 2010.10.04 23:59:14 ------------------------------------------------------------ [ 2010.10.05 00:00:23 ] (notify) Please wait while ship is entering hangar.
Scotty, the docking manager estimates 37 seconds left. [ 2010.10.05 00:00:35 ] (notify) Please wait while ship is entering hangar.
Scotty, the docking manager estimates 25 seconds left.
Ive just docked my ship and trying to swap. I have not left fleet or anything whatsoever. Now the regular 30 seconds I know about. But as per header Im docked per 59:14, and at 00:23 I get a 37 second message. What timer is this? that I have to wait in total from session start till swap for 1 minute and 46 seconds (calculated from log-header)?
I might be oblivious to some gamemechanic. So please point me in the right direction if it is. But I experience these freak timers at unpredictable times and cannot reproduce it. 95% of the time the normal timers work as they should (just undocked my geddon a few times and immeadiatly warped and tried to jump and it allowed me, the 30 seconds session change timer worked as normal even when changing ships first in station).
Help. I hate it when theres mechanics at work I dont know about.

Misconfigured clocks have caused a number of issues in the past. It used to be that you could undock, warp to a gate 90AU away, and get a message like "Beam Me Up Scotty, blah blah can't undock yet" when trying to jump.
Whether or not they fixed their ******ed brain-damage logic as of yet is not known to me. I mean, why would anyone in their right mind use the clients clock to track session state.
