Getting Covert Ops soon, and want to make a scout to spy around at potential targets for small gang PvP, including scanning down targets if possible. I was wondering about some standard fits.
I tried some loadouts in EFT, and it seemed like I could not fit much, barely a expanded probe launcher and the cloaking device, not sure if it was working or I somehow did not do something right.

I was expecting this to be a topic I could lol at, thought you wanted to fit an Anathema for combat.

It's not meant to be fitted for PvP. It's a great combat prober, but it's still a Covert Ops, and covops are by nature supposed to die easily. Cloak is your tank. Also I can't reconfigure the slots for even a mildly useful tank of any sort, so...

Thanks for the fits, and the advice on the skill. Raising Covert Ops from 3 to 4 freed up the CPU I needed. And no trolls or little kids answered my post, double score!

Thanks for the info as well as I'm planning a similar path. OP I posted the same thread question the other day, if you dig back 4 days you'll see another build offered under my thread. It's very similar but unique. It may be of help as well. I'm away from my pc and not in position to copy it here right now, I'll try to get it here later for you.

You're hopeless quasa, just fit the damn thing. It isn't hard. It's a probing ship so put an expanded probe launcher on it (ideally sister's), combat and core probes, a cloak, a mwd, some nano's and a pair of probing rigs. That leaves you with 3 midslots and a high slot to play with. You should have about 200 spare cpu and half your grid free, so you've got some options. I recommend ship/cargo scanners and a covert cyno (requires micro auxiliary power core). But that's just me.
