Strange bug, after the un-sceduled reboot earlier I get this message shortly after clicking om my character picture, "The specified proxy or server node 54949 is dead" So far I cannot log on, have tried a reboot, pinged yahoo and done a refresh of my ipconfig, but the internet works fine as far as Opera, Firefox, IE, and my email clients so am a bit stumped any ideas ppl.

Same thing here. I can play as usual, but the error popups "The specified proxy or server node is dead" are a nuisance.

I have just received the same bug.. I was attempting to warp to another system and I kept getting stuck in a loop.
Logged out, was going to log in again and says that same message...

and the best part of it is the testserver running on 3107 and no patch to dl :(

I get this messege too when I try to login. I have had no trouble logging in with my alt. But my main character gets the "The specified proxy or server node 54949 is dead" messege. So I can't play with my main char. PLEASE CCP, READ AND FIX!!

Likewise, but for 1000108. No idea how it's all set up but perhaps power probs on a rack somewhere?

"The specified proxy or server node (1001107) is dead" is the one I had...can see only the local chat. at some point I had so much message windows saying that it took me 3 jumps to clean them all

I'm getting the same problem. I was in-game about 45 minutes ago trying to jump to a different system and my ship disappeared, but it never loaded the new system. I quit and came back. Now I'm getting Quote:
The specified proxy or server node (54949) is dead
And I had only 30 minutes left on training at the time this happened.

I get a cascading unending (1001107) proxy or server node dead.
I can ESC erase all the windows back to zero and have second ot 2 to try and do something before i get blocked with the next window error. 8P

there was a travel warning for Youl system - and they hope to solve the problem in the next planned dt
