After a long time out of the game, I decided to spend some of my Hard Saved ISK. I decided to buy a strategic cruiser. 40mins of training and I got it. I used my knowledge of racial ships and bonuses to create a stealthy stalker. Why was I unaware how ugly the proteus was. Though the ship it self is not that bad, I feel like I am flying around in a floating poo.
Has any one got any brown spraypaint, to complete this fecal cruiser...
Any one else concur that they look bad lol

Why does it matter what your ship looks like? Is it doing the job you want it to? Surely that has to be the important factor.

it does it's job, but I guess I have old Scorpion sundromne; I dont like the look of my ship. I want a borgcube over a proteus.

Agreed. When I got my proteus last week the only name I could come up with was "Pig F***er". It's just that ugly.

I think that the proteus can look very good.
Only that the "looks great" and "works well" setups seem to be at opposite ends of the scale.

Agreed. There is one setup that looks like some sort of japanese-anime style Chopper that looks pretty badass.. but other than that, it's an ironclad turd.

if the look of the ship had no importance the graphical engine of eve would have been the same since the begining.
