If you saw the video demo of walking in station then you know that the guy made a bar inside the game with some mini games inside.
I was thinking about this today and I know I'm ahead of time here and the WiS is due summer 2011 but better now than ever.
So the idea is to open a bar (which should be possible) and make another type of mini game. bar fight. I was thinking women mud fight. include 3-5 different types of fights so it looks random and make people gamble on it.
Get some smoke atmosphere, some disco light effect, shade the lights a bit and you got yourself a super bar right there ? Silly or possible ?

Couldn't capsuleers have the common people fight to the death ala Star Trek: TOS or MadMax: Beyond Thunderdome?

Yes, Bar-Fights would be nice, the whole Bar-Idea from Ccp sounds awesome, and with PI it would be nice if they implement special PINs with incarna where people can make their own Alcohol/Synthetic Coffee and Tobacco on specified Planets with "Farming-PINs" and "Distillery/Factory-PINs", i.e. Strong Ice-Vodka from Ice-Planets, Different Type's of fine brewed Beer from Temperate Planets and Coffee made of fine Lava-Roasted Coffee Beans from the Lava-Planets. Maybe those Drinks even give a Bonus to the different Fighting-Style's in a Bar fight, i.e. Coffe make's you more agile and NPC-Produced-Quafe give's you more energy and Barren-Scotch-Whiskey gives you more Precision (lol?).
Maybe it's not a good Idea but i like it.

It would not be eve though if the bar fights were fair, make it just like PVP so you can cheat and win big money by scamming others. So not supported.
