how is this thing suppose to be helpful? 3 hrs to refine and it wont even hold 20k ore per refine...ok use more then one refinery....NOT... damn thing uses too much cpu...if were suppose to use these things out in deep space where there are no stations and the cloest one is 20 jumps away how about throwing us a bone and making the stupid pos usable...double its cargo space double the cargo space for the hanger arrays and make the refinery only 30mins to 1 hr per refine...and fix the freaking server

Refinery capacity is 200'000 m3
Capacity for the output is 30'000 m3
And if it uses too much CPU how about turning down some other modules while the refining goes on...

I have a few questions about the intensive refining array for thos in the know (i.e. those using it ...not the 'specialist' that just read the stats like me in the game and think they know it all' :P)
1) does specialty refining skills improved the yield ? or do you get 75% reprocessing yield whatever your skills ?
2) Can someone confirm that you can put 200,000 m3 of ore in those per refining cycle ?

 1, refining yield is independent on your skills (mobile refinery skill is disabled)
2, storage for imput is 200km3 and you can refine this in one 3hrs batch.

Actually skills of the refiner seem to apply.
We did a couple of tests, and the batch refined by the character with 5/5/2 Bistot refining gave more than the batch refined by me with refining 4. We were quite surprised, it seems like the refinery takes the skills into account and then deducts 25%.

I sometimes really hate CCP logic....
Why of Why don't advanced refining skills apply to intensive refining arrays.... you train for months for them ... (ok maybe more like 1 month) and what are they good for ? refining in a 0.0 station which happens to be not an ideal refining center ? or for those too dumb to check refining yield of an empire station before dropping 6M m3 of pyerite there ?
CCP if you want to push people out to 0.0 and encourage POS stations out there have some logic... people who train skills to be independant of the big stations out there should be rewarded and the ore specific advanced refining skills to state that they 'Allow a skilled refiner to utilize substandard refining facilities at considerably greater efficiency'.... and what is an intensive refining array if not a refining facility I ask you ??? don't tell me its not for mobile refineries.... refining arrays in POS are anything but mobile... try and move your pos from belt to belt and see what happens ...a POS is about as mobile as the damn moon its anchored to...
It would really be nice to see some official CCP response to this... and perhaps some constructive input from them stating where the logic lies for such mismatch of skills and tools ... if this is a bug say so.... I am happy to go with it until its fixed ... but I'm not happy at all if this is just how its going to be... because it contradicts even your own skill descriptions !

I trained my refining skills to 5/5/5 in many ores, and I'm totally disappointed it seemed to have no effect on the result from our POS refinery.
Wasted months of training.
I'm gonna go eat a cookie.

it is lame to say now that u got no benefits from 5/5/5 refining .....
POS is not that what the most thougth it would become very soon ... a golden donkey.
