Tengu I think and you can get around 1,000 dps if range and tank are no issue. Otherwise pve fit is around the 800 plus range vs some rats.
TBH it depends on what you are using it for, eft warrior dps does not always equate to a good pvp or pve ship. ------- "Because the Dominix is the Chuck Norris of Eve!" |

I don't see any way for the other T3s to match this kind of DPS in a practical sense.

Completely T2 mods, T1 rigs fit Proteus coming up. Hopefully somewhere decent to start from. 100K EHP, 850+ dps with just 2 3%dps implants (ZMG100, CX-1), full tackle, dps drones and GTFO drones, no overheating (which T3 is bonused for).

Potential DPS? Proteus. Actual, applied DPS? Tengu. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

The Proteus only just edges at 1052 ish without any implants..... I must admit I'm pretty surprised at the fact the Tengu is as good
Proteus beats it pvp imo
But PVE Tengu is win

Edited by: Kneebone on 11/10/2010 13:51:19 Edited by: Kneebone on 11/10/2010 13:48:30 This is what I use, can run any L4 mission out there. Puts out 759DPS with implants and near perfect skills, Fury missiles go out to 113km and has a locking range of 117km. Does 661m/s so can speed tank pretty much all mission rat BS damage. Don't really need to carry around standard or precision versions of the missiles, but I like to use the standards on the frigs, they hit hard with the rigs. If you don't want cap stable, then replace the CCC with a Flare. (This is the Sansha version, 2x hardners to taste based on the mission)
Sometimes I switch to a HML setup (Needs AWU5 for T2) when doing things like Damsel where everything is up close and personal. The smaller stuff takes a bit, but the bigger stuff just dies.
Also when flying the Tengu it is best to always kill the small stuff first especially the webbers. If you do that you can basically fully agro everything in any mission room and tank it to your hearts content.

For pvp go proteus for pve, go Tengu.
I fly both, and theres a reason why my proteus is mainly used for pvp and the tengu for pve. Mainly its the difference between "potential" dps and "actual" dps. application yo This signature space for rent |
