The bit I highlighted is the important part. This is the point at which CCP no longer has any liability. After that point, whatever happens to your PLEX / ISK is entirely down to you.

You are accepting the games rules which are generally not included in the EULA. It is up to you whether you actually read them or not, but agreeing to the rules implies that you have read & understood them.
CCP's article on Scamming
When you create an account, you agree to all rules, Terms of Service, EULA's... You agree to everything.

Oh the EULA forums lawyers ... If we go by the EULA, everything in game belongs to CCP, not you. Therefore, you never had no plex to begin with. So it could not have been scammed/stolen from you, because it was not yours.

Someone mentioned that everyone at some point gets scammed, I've played on and off since 2009 and never been scammed (yay, lucky me) and I like to think this is because I use my head before doing stupid things and by that avoid them. |

historically CCP hasn't approved of scammers that explicitly encourage their target to spend real-life money on PLEX (that the target will subequently be relieved from), I don't have a citation at hand but iirc it is briefly touched upon in the discussion of vote scamming in the recent CSM minutes.
that doesn't seem to be the case here, though.
@OP next time do your research, it is well-known (and would be easy to dig up with a little research) that CFC and HB alliances (and Tribal Band is honeybadger) don't rent out any space, the shortcomings of the rental system are one of mittani's favorite topics in his tentonhammer column. |
