OK anyone know anything about these?
I just found out about it via a acceleration gate.
This is what popped up.
This acceleration gate is not configured to handle your Raven. It handles: À Elite Frigate À Elite Cruiser À Elite Industrial <<<<<<<<<<<<< WTF??!! À Destroyer À Rookie ship À Mining Barge À Frigate À Cruiser À Industrial À Shuttle

It shows "Elite Battleship" *and* "Dreadnaught"? Those are going to be different classes?
must be frigate -> destroyer cruiser -> battlecruiser battleship -> dreadnaught?

I've always had that impression, never figured out where the notion that Dreadnought's are T2 BS came from...

Yeah...now that I think about it a bit more I don't know why I ever was confused about that. Seems obvious now.

Can think of a few 'elite' concepts they might do, in light of how they split up the other ship classes. They never made just an 'improved' version of the base hull, but gave it unique properties.
So Elite Indies might be like -
'Snowgoose' - (Based on Badger II) Can only carry Ice and Ice refined materials. Refrigerator (Refer) skill Bonus: +15% cargo volume per level (Ice and Ice products only).
or
'Provider' - (Based on the Bestower) Can only carry trade goods. Freight skill bonus: +15% cargo volume per level (Trade Goods only).
or
'Hephaestus' - (Based on the Mammoth) Can only carry (non-ice) ore or minerals. Smelting skill bonus: +15% cargo volume per level (non-ice ore and minerals only).

during early testing on SiSi you could search all items on the market, each race had an elite industrial category with two entrys :
Big and Slow
Small and Fast
None of these entrys had stats any different than the normal ones (mammoth/Badger mk II/bestower/Iteron mk V) nor were there pictures any different.
Just look like placeholders so far for work some time in the future . ----- Apologys for any rambling that may have just occurred.

i hope they never come out this way, no offense but i don`t like that idea at all. I was thinking about better versions of the tech 1 indys.. i mean better cargo space better bonus armor etc and above all improved SPEED.

Hum. What I think of as interesting, is that the Elite Indys will probably have two bonuses, as the other T2 ships have. One for the races Indy skill and one for the Elite Indys.
I wonder if the big cargo haulers that are only for station to station hauling will be part of them. I can't think of another way of making indys better but through speed or cargo, which is a bit boring ifyou ask me. They'd need something special.
Anyways, I can't wait for Dreadnaughts and Elite BS as well. On the same note, will there be elite versions of Destroyers/Battlecruisers/Dreadnaughts as well? Would certainly be interesting.
