Im looking into what the minimum possible gang/ships/fittings including caps is capable of tanking and defeating any C5 or C6 plex. On a note of that nature a if you have interesting strategies please post your thoughts and pointers. Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks in advance =)

I understand its a team effort in a C5+ but Im wondering how big that team needs to be in the end. I appreciate your input though =)

this is eve, people making money after heavy research and failed attempts are unlikly to lay down a free how-to guide for oyu.
in eve you can steal, so join an established WH corp and steal their operational tactics.

you dont need triage, if you are using carriers just fit / use em like a logi cause you will have fighter dps to help kill the first wave of 6 extra BS. Those guardians are hard as nails, but than again, they are worth 20m each just in tags. cant expect them to pop easy.
I never bothered with C6 so I cant help you there.
but yeah if you have to ask. might not want to go at all coz sleepers are the least of your worries. edit: warning

Tengu are amazing - C4 solo , C5 3 , not sure about C6. Nothing else comes even close - pretty sure the new sansha sites that are coming with incursion will be soloed first by a tengu.(btw - the worst t3 for pve - gallente one- could've at least given it a 125mbit drone subsystem , bastards)

I'm guessing nightmares/paladins will be the better choice for sansha specifics.

I am surprised a Tengu gang can do it, Having flown Tengu for most of the time they have been out, they are indeed excellent ships, But they have a dps cap an a C6 will reach that cap fast. A sleeper battleship in C6 is tough as hell, never midn 6 at once.
(btw the guy who mentioned the 6 extra ships spawn, he means When you take a Carrier into the site the Sleepers go bat****, an spawn extra's as a sort of "FU"), so be aware when you go in there heh

There are some times when a meme is actually useful for describing a situation. This is one of those times.

Dont know about actuall DPS incoming, but two logis will keep a gang alive aslong as you arent escalating or bringing a bad ship.

only need 1 triage carrier with 3 rr and single local rep... fit for cap.
this will hold up, however, it wont last for ever! as your reps are not enough over the long term. so you need to kill ****. however, it can be fit to perma run so you can infact just take in.
1 rapier (lg slaves with t2 trimarks) (2tp/3sansha webs) put triage rep on this and leave it on 2/3 paladins (2 you can perma rep with tirage as alt)
don't kill trigger!
once initial spawn is cleared, warp out your bs, warp in your dreads. put 3 reps on rapier to keep alive as you kill the 2 cap sleeper spawns with dreads.
we did this regularly in a c6 mag.
note// you can warp in as many dreads as you want, you will only force 2 spawns, which will be cleared up quick with dreads.

Edited by: Prihs on 18/10/2010 03:22:02 For our C5 ops we run 2 Guardians fit like this and have successfully done sites with as few as 3 additional T3 ships (2 proteus and a Loki). It took roughly half an hour to clear each site (double boxed salvager). Our regular set up is 1 Abandon (T2 Tachyon fit), 1-2 Loki, 2-3 Proteus, and 1-2 Legions depending on who is around. At best we can clear a site in ~15 minutes.
With these two Guardians we can do every C5 site, including the hardest hitting Mag - Forgotten Sleeper Information Pen (5 Sleepless Keepers hurt). It's a little dicey though. Every other C5 site is a snooze with the Guardians.
I would never remotely consider moving into a system with a C6 static... nearly every one I've come across has been occupied with multiple capital ships. So unless you join one of those corps, you're not going to be able to do many C6 sites, let alone the fact you'd need at least an extra Logi ship and then some.
Oh and those 4 Tengus were only able to do a C6 site b/c they were in a Cataclysmic variable and had +100% remote rep amount... without that they would've died rrrrrrreal quick.

How it my fit odd? If you read the post it should make sense. Also the Sleeper DPS was pulled from someone who posted it here. Looked pretty spot on when I checked it against my combat logs.
Kill babies? huh?
