My clients keep disconnecting and closing the socket whenever i try to log on any character. I was playing fine earlier it only just started happening. I seem to be able to only log on docked characters without disconnecting.

I'm having the same problem, it lets me log in one character, but when I try to log in on a second client, I get "Closed Socket" while loading character selection screen.

i am having the same problem. i can log on my alt ok, but not my main on ether client.

I'm having the EXACT same problem.
I'm currently in the middle of running a mission, and I keep trying to get my battleship back to a base and out of the mission area (taking damage) but it won't let me stay logged in long enough to do anything but see my ship for a second before closing.

Just started happening, can't log into either of my characters without getting a socket closed or "Message: 'Connection Lost - An unexpected error has occurred'
Args: {}" message, then being booted back to the login screen.
It seems Europeans are not having this problem, as all my Euro friends are clueless.

I started having this problem today after I accidentally logged on an account that was already logged in :/. Rebooted and was able to log in, but now having this issue with logging in one account, then quitting, and trying to log in the same account with a different toon. Client disappears, sometimes 'socket closed' msg pops up, sometimes not.

Hm, the only thing I did what I normally don't do was kicked off my PC by logging into the game from my laptop. Problems started occurring right afterwords.
I'm a USA player btw.

Me as well. I am in Atlanta using Comcast. Someone said it might be a issue with the ISP so make sure to say your ISP as well and location.

Well it all seems to be working fine now, guess Comcast fixed whatever the issue was. At last it is now.
