Well only 9 months too late! You could have saved PA had you done it then but you let it get run into the ground before leaving.
The next time you or your corp consider attacking a friendly corporation, think long and hard about it... they might just be like Reikoku.
See you soon. dbp

I think there is only one thing to say in the circumstance:
*breaks into rousing rendition of a pre eve-gate classic*
An old man turned ninety-eight He won the lottery and died the next day It's a black fly in your chardonnay It's a death row pardon two minutes too late Isn't it ironic... don't you think
It's like rain on your wedding day It's a free ride when you've already paid It's the good advice that you just didn't take Who would've thought... it figures
Mr. Play It Safe was afraid to fly He packed his suitcase and kissed his kids good-bye He waited his whole damn life to take that flight And as the plane crashed down he thought "Well, isn't this nice." And Isn't this ironic ... don't you think?
It's like rain on your wedding day It's a free ride when you've already paid It's the good advice that you just didn't take Who would've thought... it figures
Well life has a funny way of sneaking up on you When you think everything's okay and everything's going right And life has a funny way of helping you out when You think evertyhing's gone wrong and everything blows up In your face A traffic jam when you're already late A no-smoking sign on your cigarette break It's like 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife It's meeting the man of my dreams and then meeting his beautiful wife And isn't it ironic... don't you think A little too ironic.. and yeah I really do think...
It's like rain on your wedding day It's a free ride when you've already paid It's the good advice that you just didn't take Who would've thought... it figures
Well life has a funny way of sneaking up on you And life has a funny funny way of helping you out helping you out

Edited by: Azure Skyclad on 05/01/2005 13:54:02 I know the practical conditions for the end of the GNW were more or less met some time ago. Doesn't this now mean the explicit conditions have been met too?
Or will there be quibbles over "left" PA and "booted from" PA?
Watch this space i suppose

Kudos to Krullz and CDI for standing so long against Evol. I was 6 months in CDI myself. Most people have a wrong picture of the corp because CDI was so often victim of RKK+JF propaganda on the forums. CDI is a great corp.
I salute to my ex-CEO.

I think the fact that so many CA members give positive comments about CDI, may make the "RFF+JF propaganda" look more believeable.

you know whats really ironic? is that the defenition of ironic states... iÀroÀny ( P ) Pronunciation Key (r-n, r-) n. pl. iÀroÀnies
1. 1. The use of words to express something different from and often opposite to their literal meaning. 2. An expression or utterance marked by a deliberate contrast between apparent and intended meaning. 3. A literary style employing such contrasts for humorous or rhetorical effect. See Synonyms at wit1. 2. 1. Incongruity between what might be expected and what actually occurs: ôHyde noted the irony of Ireland's copying the nation she most hatedö (Richard Kain). 2. An occurrence, result, or circumstance notable for such incongruity. See Usage Note at ironic.
more importantly number 2-1 where it states "Incongruity between what might be expected and what actually occurs"
A 98 yer old man is expected to die soon. Flies are attracted to sugar and other food items. Just becasue its the day of your wedding doesnt shange the weather. You get my point but my earlier what is ironic.. is that the whole entire song isnt ironic.

BoB is now giving ethics lectures? Amazing. Now I've seen it all.
Oh yeah. By the way, it's time JF and RKK stop pretending they had anything to do with any corp leaving the PA. I can't speak for anyone else for sure, but in my opinion the reason for corps leaving the PA was 100% internal differences. It has nothing to do with Jade and for sure nothing to do with DP Preacher and co.
But if you do want to somehow consider this a military victory rather than gloating about something you had nothing to do with you should be thanking EVOL and BNC for valant effort while you guys hid behind them. JF and RKK were nothing and will never be anything. I know you think your propaganda, lies, and smacktalk are what started the war. That simply isnt true. Evolution wanted branch, that's what the war was about. End of story. Evolution wanting control of branch is a legit enough reason for the war. Or even evolution felt like attacking someone is a good enough reason too. Everyone knows that already. I think you'll find people will respect you more if you are honest about it. No need to carry on the fasade(sp?).
This war had NOTHING to do with cdi. The GNW was the first of 3 wars started by the same reason. A pilot from whatever alliance blows up a BoB frigate, then evolution attacks them. Now that you have employed this tactic several times it is clear that it is all BS and CDI had nothing to do with the start of the war. Just like JF and RKK had nothing to do with the fighting or ending of the war.
CDI get alot of bad publicity on these forums. However they show alot of class by not dignifying all the nonsense with a response (unlike me who is completly lacking in class and maturity). Anyone who knows CDI well knows that all the bad hype over CDI is just that. All hype. Anyone who has flown with CDI know what great people they are and what valuable allies they are. They are worth their weight in zydrine for sure. http://www.blixts.net/sunbeam/host/firekiller_sig1.jpg |
