What would it be?
Basically, I'm bored with normal PvP, I'm bored with PvE, I'm bored with Carebearing...Whats left? Some good ol' fashioned piracy and having a laugh..On an Alt of course..
So, what ship should I train my alt for? Consider it a blank canvas that will only be used in low sec for some good old fashioned ganking...?
I was thinking of a HIC..maybe devoter (but limited on Damage types) or Phobos...Obviously it needs to be able to survive under gate fire, as well as the targets...
Any ideas? Fittings would be helpful too!

I usually have the most fun in a Crusader... but it isn't what I'd consider "ganking". I'd probably go for training the Drake for a one ship.

I would say the crusader is awesome.
The Ranis is fun.... You could try the nano Tempest. Fly it like a BC with BS guns.
All depends on how you like to fly.
Stay away from HICs for solo piracy. if you have 3-5 gangmates, they are wonderful.

Requires an ungodly ammount of skills to use properly and even then you'd like to have a proper support gang (painters would be exellent).
Not an awful ship though, espcially considering that, once you can fly one properly, you can fit 10 of them for the price of most other competetive battleships and you can do just about anything with the bloody thing ya like.
Then again, if you live out in 0.0 like me, you won't get to use it regardless; However, that can be said about most any battleship nowadays.

Fleet Phoon can be had for relatively little LP from the FW LP store and can fit a pretty big tank. Not only that, but the 3 utility slots mean you can do some serious neuting or RR with it and the biggish drone bay means you have the option of sentries, heavy drones or even heavy EC-900s to irritate your opponents in a gang bang.

If you really want to have fun and mix it up pirating and ganking -- pick pirate ships and come up that path.
IMO -- I'd go Mini+Gallente first. Dramiel/Daredevil -> Cynabal/Vigilant up through Nightmare/Vindicator.
After that, if you're in the mood, pick up Caldari and work up the Rattlesnake line.
After that, if you still are looking for more options, pick up Amarr and work up through the Bhaalgorn.
Why pick 1 ship or stop? Open up the options in a path that gives you the most and some serious 'contender' types early on. Especially if you've "done it all" and have the ISK to back flying more expensive toys for the fun factor.

Or you can get an 100mn AB Tengu and do some solo/tengu gang pvp.
I saw a vid of 2 100mn ab tengus once messing up a 15+ gang by proper kiting alone.
Another fun end-game ship would be a crystal setted cyclone/sleipnir/maelstrom with blue pill booster or a dual/tripple rep (navy) boostered mega/vindicator or the AC machariel.
Those are probably the most fun and effective end-game pvp combat ships usable solo or in small gangs.

Yo Yo Yo gentleman be at ease, I have all the answers.the last ship you would ever fly has to be without doubt the ibis.
Firstly this ship comes for free which makes it a rare breed in the garden of Eden. Not only is it free but it comes with a gratuity gift of 1tritanium. That's the kind if service I want when I take my last flight. I mean I got a bad ass battleship, but none of them lay out the red carpet like the ibis.
Secondly I would like to divert your attention to it's mind boggling multi faceted appearance that I can only say reminds me if polygon the pokeman, with added go faster red stripes that aren't painted neat but dragged across like a brush. It is these simple details that make the ibis a thing of beauty. And that is why I want it for my last ride....

Last thing ide fly, anything gallente. Personaly, i dont like my ships looking like theyre modeled from piles of crap tossed against a wall and left to fall and splat, then drawn up in 3d, eaten, and c****d out again THEN being added to the game. Though the myrm and nyx dont look half bad.

Pilgrim, one of the best lowsec/piracy ships out there. Can do a lot of things if you fly it with a brain.

I'd go with this, or The Arazu - Damp anything, and slowly work it down. Very Slowly.
Although I've never done Piracy, just War Decs in Low Sec..
