I started mining because it was the easiest way to make ISK so I could buy all my ships. After a few years I decided to get another account so I could hall my ore back to a station without stopping my mining lasers. After training my two accounts to god status, I determined I needed another account to bring in more ore. I then purchased a third account and started training it to mining god status. Now all three of my accounts are mining gods and all I do is read or surf the internet while Im watching my ships mine. I used to do many other things in EVE but now all I think about is making more ISK . Hell, I might as well get a fourth account!

Haha Dirk swan, seems were in the same boat, I recently just got my 4th account. I have 3 miners now, and 1 missioner but I ended up training the missioner to be able to mine too=P For some reason seeing the ISK counter of my (all me) corp wallet growing is somewhat addictive.
Now Ill have to admit that I am labeled with certain afflitions that make me get quite obsessive about these things, If you feel you take eve (or things in general) too serious, to the point of obsession, Then you might be well off seeing a therapist, not saying you should, but It has helped me alot(not that ive cut alot of time, but I can put things in perspective alot better)

why not build somethiung together? there is the trust issue but...this here is no single player game usually.

Train your hauler up into an Orca?
Surely that would lead to even more AFK-ness? :)
Unless you already have an Orca... :P

Well Im posting just to add to this but I have cureently 6 accounts originally I had 5 one being an Orca pilot and the other 4 being Hulk pilots, started the 6th account to be a 2nd Orca pilot and a 5th Hulk pilot, why you might ask because I hate having my orca gone from the field and my lasers stop mining so I wanted a 2nd Orca to haul while the 1st stays on field to keep giving bonuses, but also a 5th Hulk pilot for times when I or someone in my Alliance finds a nice lil stash of good ore that I want to rip apart farily quickly before someone else tries to take it lol.

I have only 2 mining accounts, Hulk and Orca.
Sold the hulk and use the orca for a hisec command ship.
Its not that mining is too boring, its that it produces less ISK than afk missioning.

I find myself sliding down this slippery slope as well.
I started my second account to have a mission runner, then decided it was better off following the lead of my first account and mining.
Now I am considering a third account to have a mission runner but I am putting it off because I know it's just gonna end up hauling or mining.

In your case it's probably too late, you're stuck with it for the rest of your life.

actually i used to do T2 production and could afford 2 acounts via plex
with my profit after PI i would be luck to make enough to support one and spend 20x more time doing it
Pretty much gave up on 2 acounts will debate if mission running is really any fun or viable to support one acount,
If i have to pay for eve with real life dollars its going to have to impress me alot more
I liked playing 2 hours a day and running 2 acounts on plex seems pi killed that fast =)
I got and orca and hulk with nearly max skills and all but i cant bring myself to watch mining for more than a hour its so borining i have fallen asleep on my keyboard beyond 3 hours woke up with keybboard face

i used to have more accounts but now i just have one max hulk and a orca pilot and i am done with 2 accounts

There are many eve player that have the same thing happen to them. You may want to try THIS. There are other eve players there to talk to
