That's a somewhat tall order Kosmo..
As soon as we try explaining it, some representative of the 'genocide is okay' bunch will try and shout us down.. but... There is this, which a.. uh, friend of mine reported a few years back. It tells the real story of what went before, as opposed to the revisionist history popular among the empires..
As for the more recent events, you'll need to find somebody else to explain that.. I was umm.. lost at Sea for much of the last year, so I missed out. Pity.
