is it still a exploit to have a character to gank in empire and delete that character because of it sec status only to make another for high sec ganking.
i remember before i left that this might of been considered a exploit. I only ask as there someone in my system than seems to be doing just that ( by admitting in local might i add ) and want to know if this is petitional?

Yes, repeatedly recycling characters for the express purpose of escaping negative security ratings is still very much considered an exploit, and if caught doing it, some punishment will be in order.

Ok... I don't do this, but why wouldn't someone just use new accounts to do this? Pay for 1 month and use up all 3 slots doing ganking... then can that account and start a new one.
Don't see how doing that vs cycling chars is different. Sure, if your main is on the same account, then you won't try do it - you'd lose out training time for your main on that account anyway.
If I ever want to do ganking, I'd create a new account and do it on there...then can the account when it lost it's usefulness.

because cycling your character is going against the penalty for suicide ganking in high sec.
if you recycle your character then what is the penalty for high sec suicide ganking?

You get the penalty of losing training time to get the character into the gank ship when you cycle? As I said, I've never ganked, so am just hypothesizing.
Still, how does CCP stop you from just opening new 1-month accounts?

i dunno how they would stop you playing, im sure they could do something like ip ban you to that effect. I am not to internet savvy to say what they could do hypothetically.
but you are just cheating the system as when you get a to low sec status you cant enter high sec and so forth with your gank and deleting that character you havnt worked off you low sec status and so causing the exploit.

Seems trivial to circumvent. As long as you're not using the exact same names/corp, how would anyone know to petition you?

1. Open trial account using buddy system
2. Activate trial alt account using a plex
3. Main account gets one month also and train alt account for gank
4. When the alt account reachs negative sec status or the account runs out of game time, trash the account.
5. Rinse and repeat.
No need to biomass characters to do this. Follow the EULA or whatever it is; just use new accounts not characters.

Because they do record IP adresses. I got a notice that I was logging in from multiple IP's when I started logging at school (shhhhhh) to check skill queues and rat. They do notice these things.
Now if you got really insidious and used proxies, you could get away with it. But its still against the ToS. I like me

And one wonders why sooooo many people want to do away with learning skills, and increase training speed (especially for new characters). Current system makes it harder to train up ganking alts in a hurry, even though I understand it's faster now than it used to be.
Just think of the possibilities. No learning skills to deal with + cheap implants + SPs/Remaps for cash + Training speed enhancers = disposable gank alts in days instead of weeks !
(People will still whine that it takes too long for "new" players to train and how "new" players need more advantages to enable them to catch up to "older" players.)
