The world of Eve has been hit by chaos and desolation. The region of carebears, that used to flourish under the guidance of the veterans of the bloody wards, is now full of cybernetic farmers of isks. Buzzing of tractors and salvagers are now there instead of the music of explosions and cries of happiness and desperation. The dead cosmos, a wild forest has turned into a factory.
The capsulers - the seekers of adventures, fights, and glory GÇô have found their world shrunk to NPC zeros. Only the stations unattackable by military vehicles can now house the alivel, not robots and their gabby servants. If they had been human, the agents, virtually cyber-beings, would have been excited at the inflow of those seeking their isks.
Humans and Robots GÇô Robots and Humans. In some places itGÇÖs robots for the sake of humans; in others is humans for the sake of robots.
The Cyber world it triumphing, for the free ones have been pushed out into the caves of the NPC spaces. Those overtaken by the machines do indulge into illusions and hope GÇô their brains are being injected with portions of joy and euphoria after the regions they lived in turned into a desert. After this lie and poison they begin to perceive the whole world of EVE as dead and false; they stop enjoying life and leave the game with an illusion of success. The inhabitants of the free stars fail to resist, too GÇô their raids might be victorious in a battle, but they canGÇÖt stop the invasion of the machines.
The sages are trying to decipher the divine device. Is it an ordeal? The mechanical Moloch testing the strength and resolution of the free ones? Or is it the turn of the evil to come as an atonement for imprudence and relaxed life? Or is it that the goddesses are angry with the obstinate capsulers who make no sacrifices, buy no mascots?
The sages are the last one to find of out, of course - only after the freemen rebel or disappear. The sages will make then a theory; the governors will then make their laws, but the bardsGǪ The bards will remember the heroes who risked their wellbeing for a moment of glory. Maybe only children, only fools will be praising the star heroes. But even the masters of the factories, their servants and the servants of their machines will have THEIR glory as a point of reference.
This season my become the last season of the old game or may become its revival. The gods may curse the impertinents or favor them for their loyalty to the Original Spirit of the game. The warriors of the wastelands may escape into the world of shadows and lament over their loss or may stand up for the last Great Battle.
But whatever it was, I was there in that battle with them. With them I kept my faith and hope and I am going to be with them to the end, whatever their name will be the.

I shall say fair play to you guys for having the balls to drop supers on them, and for fighting outnumbered and winning. It's always nice to see our enemies get a spanking. I would say the enemy of our enemy is our friend however we both know if I see you I'll shoot you in the face. |
