Edited by: Astrogel on 19/10/2010 15:48:44 I just joined a very small group of people that do a lot of wormholing. They are mostly gallente ship pilots though and dont have much experience with amarr fits.
I have amarr battleship 5 and I also have heavy assault cruiser 4 (can use gallente, minmitar, and amarr hacs)
Would an armagedon be a good battleship (cheap and effective) for wormholes or should I look at something else? And how do I fit for sleepers? (have both large pulse and large beam specalized at 4)
thank you!

The answer is going to rely heavily on what the rest of your fleet is flying. You will want some sort of synergy.
So figure out what they're flying and fill any roles left out. You want some sort of remote repping capability, and not just one person. You look like you've got decent skills for dps, so I'd point at a remote rep fit geddon as a good option.
Alternatively, you've got the base skills for t3's if you can fly HAC's.

RR.
BS.
Synergy.
Ohh yeah. But I digress. This one time at fat camp, i was flying a dominix, and then I was so hungry that i ate 3 planets and collapsed into a black hole, which ate my sig. |

This one juuuust fits, with AWU 5 and no special implants. With EANM instead of ANP, it takes too much CPU. You can make that happen perhaps with some turret CPU implants. If your fitting skills aren't as awesome, then switch to Dual Heavypulse Lasers, there's no shame in it. It's also better on capacitor.

The idea behind a remote-rep setup is to have a decent buffer tank (so your friends have time to target and get close to you) and high resistances so that their remote reps have a good effect on your EHP.

Biggest question is what class of WH? C2s I'd expect a BS can local tank and needs range fit, c3s should be ok for local and closer range, c4s+ needs to be RR BS or with logistics ships for armour tankers. |
