Whats everyone's prediction on the datacore market once ghost training is removed. They mentioned removal of this in in the end of August, but have yet to put it into effect.

Half the datacores are already overpriced due to scammers and the people they've scammed.

You're a little late to the party. Prices jumped way up when that devblog came out. The cores I happened to be holding went from 170-250k and have since come down - not sure how much I sold out.
They're probably not going to say exactly when the change is going to happen so if you're into long term holds then by all means throw up some buy orders. Prices will absolutely go up the day it's implemented, thanks to speculation, but I don't think the real effect will really be that big for awhile. I think we all underestimate how much RP is out there waiting to be turned in. The change will only stop accumulation.
Expect people to reactivate and sell off RP as the prices rise, drawing it out. The ceiling for datacore prices is where it becomes possible to have an account of R&D alts active and paid for with plex from the cores.

yes im talking long term.. for example mechanical data cores have stayed at about 340kish per. This went up a little and back down around the time the post went up. Besides that it was not touched much. So im curious what is going to happen long term wise.

Any longterm effect won't be applied before all supplies dry out which means you won't see any shortage year after ghost cores get removed.Similar to pi there will be short jump in price and then its down all the way possibly to the levels were seeing now. After the 1year takes off we will see very big increase in the price of the major ones like quantum physics i'd say like 200k more per/u or about 500k each. knowledge is power |

At least wait until Incursion comes out, since that's the point at which your alts will stop acquiring RP.

It could very well be that prices crash before they rise. It highly depends but if I had Ghost datacore farmcharacters I would wait until this change is implemented. Then cash out. They won't remove the already existing RP but remove the further gains for unpaid accounts.
It depends when the change is implemented though. Maybe they cash out during the free playtime @ Christmas if the nerf has not been implemented by then. But I definetely expect some kind of crash because the majority will want their cashout when the nerf hits so they can just unsub forever after that payout or sell the character. That might aswell result in a lot of R&D Characters coming up after that nerf in the Character Bazaar :D
In my opinion there is no way that the majority of people will have the patience to sell their cores over a long time. Maybe some do, but no way everyone.

Look at all the helpful people on MD! Since we're giving out free advice, I have some. My take is that it's probably a good idea to sell early or sell late, but not a good idea to sell when everyone else's research alts are dumping core on the market, which IMHO will be right after these changes are implemented.

My advice would be to sell high, buy low.
