Simply which is better for level 4 missions for Amarr?
I have great skills (need to tech up to the Abaddon guns for about a week or so)
I currently run a Machariel with ur standard x4 gyro x3 TE x8 Faction guns etc etc.
Pushes out great dps using EMP ammo but I am wondering if the Abaddon would be better simply because well.....They are built to **** sansha and blood.
Also they are firing both and EM and Thermal damage from Frequancy Crystals so really...I am curious.
I am worried a bit about the lower range.
I love amarr boats and am pro amarr but the machariel is really something else.
Just want some thoughts.
Everyone compared a machariel to the nightmare....but i hate that nightmare like a *****.
Rather fly the abaddon to be honest.

If you don't like the Nightmare, you could try Navy Apoc or Geddon, no where near as good as Nightmare or Paladin but, well you don't want to fly a Nightmare.

even my fleet issue typhoon is better against sanshas than my mach.
NM first choice then pally then abadon.

The reason I am avoiding the nightmare is simply because I do not like the way it is...I really like spaceSHIPS....the nightmare ****s I know trust me....I checked like an EFT warrior...but I mean..I hate it trully.
Also the other reason why is simply because I hear that it is better then the Paladin in many ways and for me I hope to be flying a Paladin in a few months.
So for me...I dont want to taste a ship better...think I upgraded to a Maurauder...then only to find dissapointment since I will be training Mauauders V.

It's not better than the Paladin. As long as you know what a cap booster is and don't failfit it, it's just as good with the added bonus of the ability to salvage/loot effectively.
Until then, if you don't like flying the Nightmare. An Abaddon or Navy Apoc are both fine. Macherial can do just fine in Amarr space too but nothing will compare to how easy it is to hop into a Nightmare.

A beam-fit Abaddon can work wonders. Navy Apoc can be better but it's just fun looking at the broadside volleys. You need minimal tank, a t2 repper and 3 hardeners will do. You can pulse the repper most of the time. Beware that sansha and blood close-range rats do ungodly damage. Nonetheless they die fast.

Honestly I hate NM too , it looks so gay.
Paladin is your ship of choice:
it is cheap
it doesn't require complex/officer fit to shine just some faction stuff (LAR + TCs)
it has 40km tractor range
it has huge cargo space
it is black
play it smart get an Abaddon and train for Paladin.
