All the FW corps that were worth a damn have joined full time 0.0 alliances. Start looking into a lowsec pirate corp (Veto really has their ** together, among others) and play with them if you want to ** around in lowsec. Otherwise, start your own merc corp, hit targets for profit and then enjoy. My own position, not to be construed as anyone elses, but frankly, faction warfare is a joke. Don't you just love when people who know nothing about FW and/or are ghosts from a past era of FW come in here comment about how FW sucks and 0.0/low sec piracy/their time in FW/high sec piracy is/was teh **... FW as a mechanic may be flawed and broken true... But many of us tried other forms and PvP including major alliance 0.0 and still came back to FW... If it sucks or used to suck for you, great. It doesn't for us. This is EVE. It's a sandbox. Just because you don't like our shovel it doesn't mean your rake and bucket are better. Oh wait did I just get trolled/baited by a CAOD poster? :\

I love how some scrub in 1 of the least skill-driven 0 sec alliances in EvE talks about pvp skill. In IT alliance you have a bunch of guys with deep wallets/carebears whose gangs can't kill anything half their size without having to batphone their triage carriers and supercaps. Seriously, learn how to play/roam before trying to mock others. So you own the western side of the map. Grats. You got that how? Because a PL FC went stupid and cyno'd their cap fleet into certain death (y-2), followed by Goons forgetting to pay sov bills. Since then you've been carebearing, building up caps, recruiting like mad, started a failed invasion followed by ganging on a dying -A-. Mad props to you, you guys truly are great PvPers. Take an IT gang of 20-30 into the Auga area and see what happens when you don't light a cyno. Edit: Your feeder alliance is BLAST. That says it all.

Yes I agree almost every FW corp is useless, but the good ones join blob sec? only person that need to be good there is the FC rest is just clueless sheeps. OP try RvB or the militia to learn the basic and then get in to a good merc corp

The best thing to do is look at all your options, and try to "hang out" with them. As I said there is no best corp, as such imo its a much better idea to try and find a group of guys that you fit well with and can have a lot of fun with. Dude ive been in goons and wiDOT, I lost all my tech moons when wiDOT lost geminate though
