Sup guys, lately ive been pvp'ing in my wtfpwnage rifter and im down to -2.21 sec status. The thing I want to know for all you -10's out there, how do you get new ships? Obv you cant buy them in jita cos you would never get it out lol.... Just curious if you buy them from jita then get them courier to your main pvp station or something?

get into a good pirate corp that has its own logistics team, or get an alt to haul for you.
Going from -10 to -2 can be done in under a week if you know how to rat properly.

True, but Id rather pay 150m for a fully fitted battleship rather then 200m....

Alts. Ranging from characters on the same account rushing to Industrial IV for the Mammoth, to jump freighter pilots.

It can be a PITA for the newer player.
Pirate corps for the most part have flakey logistics, so you'd do best not to rely on other people. Training an alt for a Hoarder quickly is a great idea, as with rigs etc you can haul up to a Battlecruiser, meaning you'll have sorted yourself with logistics for quite some time, and if you live in a busy lowsec pocket you can ask a friend to scout for you.
If you prepare for it, then you'll be fine, but most new players who rush their sec status down find it somewhat lonely and frustrating.

My corp (The Tuskers) has a good logistics line with regular freighters runs. (although I must admit I make a lot of those ) That's probably the easiest way to go about it.

Train an alt into a Mammoth, then you can haul yourself up to a BC sized ship + Fittings from Jita. It's well worth the couple days of training time, even if you're not -10. Even if you are -10 with an awesome corp supply chain, you should still have a mammoth alt because at some point it'll suck to not be able to be self-sufficient.
This is best done on a second account, because you should have a scout to help you haul to lowsec. |

As said, a hauler alt on your main account is a minimum. Moving anything up to a BC shouldn't take more than a day of skill training. For the more committed, you'll want a separate account for your support stuff. This includes hauling, probing, scouting and so on. Obviously you can also try to have your corp do your logistics, but that's always dodgy. It often takes days to get even simple things that way as they will roll your supply needs into their own personal hauler runs.
Also, the drop from 5.0 sec to -10 takes literally hours if in a good system. The climb back up if you are in low sec is far slower and exceedingly mind numbing.
Thus far you shall read, but no further; for this is my sig. |

You can go around just fine in highsec as -10, you just need instaundock bms from stations. Obviously this might require more than one try when you want to undock and warp off, if your ship gets ejected from the station at a wierd angle you have to wait out session change and dock up again. Try it next time you are in jita, undock then if you see your ship is more or less coming straight out then warp to planet 4 moon 1. You also want to fit your ship with 2+ warpcore stabilizers and the rest intertia stabilizers, the only thing that can ruin your day is a heavy interdictor but you don't see those often enough in high sec for it to be a concern.
Also put Ourapheh to avoid, this system is a deathtrap for outlaws. Its part of the interbus/concord sov conestelattion in Genesis region and autopilot love to visit it when you are traveling around gallente space. What happens is that you get gcc if the concord npcs (that act as faction navy in those systems) get a shot at you. Once you have gcc you can't use the stargates so then you are stuck warping around trying to wait out gcc without getting shot again and then making the jump without getting shot. Lots of machariels have died in that system. http://evemaps.dotlan.net/map/Genesis

It's not big deal.
you can still shop in jita if you want and get back to your low sec easy as pie as a -10 all day long.
In fact the bigger a ship you are doing it in the easier it gets, WCS on a BS makes concord webs turn you into a insta warping happy boy.
you do not need insta undocks or anything fancy to get around hi sec just a fast ship, or a big slow one with WCS.

This + their new JF service, as long as you don't live in one of the main pirate systems they list, they'll jump your stuff right to your door.
