I know there are more sleeper ship spawns per site and they do more stuff (like neut, scram, etc)... but do sleepers in say, a C4 actually hit harder individually than sleepers in a C3, and C3 ships hit harder than a those in a C2? Or, is the dps just higher because there are more ships hitting you at once (esp more BS)?

Both. Sleepless guardians in a C6 will do about 625ish dps iirc while c3 BS are more like 300 or so.

I've faced a Class 5 and lived in a Class 3.
Class 5 had a sleeper named Sleepless Sentinel and it completely wrecked us. Sleepless Upholders in the C3 are pretty tame.
So basically...Higher class will pit you against nastier rats

There are 3 classifications of sleepers.
Basic sleepers which are found in Perimeter sites and are very weak and have low value drops.
Intermediate sleepers are found in Frontier sites and are a significant step up in hazard from basic sleepers. This level of sleeper is where the drops being of really good value.
Advanced sleeprs are found in Core sites and they do the most DPS and use the most special abilities (web, scram, nos, RR). Needless to say the value of their drops is higher thasn the other types.

I live in a C-6 worm hole when we do an op we have 1 carrier shield reps 2 logi 8 battleships and 1-2 tengus for the frigs. Does that give you an idea of how hard higher class sleepers are? LOL............P.S. I love living in a hole.

And those ones are realy fun.
The samme Sleeper can: Web target1, Scramble target2, drain target3, remote another sleeper and shoot target5.
