the title says it all really, but yeah, what about a time convertor, or just an in game clock even, would be nice. it makes it easier to tell for noobs when the downtime is, and also helps with multi-national corps and what not to organise things. i was thinking of something like a panel that you can collapse into a small-ish bar that players can just keep on the screen.

Edited by: Learol on 26/10/2010 10:46:40 Try this Buy a clock, something cheap no need to be expensive, put it on your desk and then look at the difference between game time and the time on your clock.....
FIXED!
*Edit (Eve also has a web browser you can use for time zones of other people.) |

I just tell people what time the operations start at in EVE-time. As long as you never mention your current TZ time, it's easy not to get confused. ----------------------

Better yet, when creating an EVE Mail or what-have-you, typing in an EVE-Time, highlighting it and clicking "Auto-Link > EVE Time" would turn it in to a link, that when people click it, a notification will pop up saying "According to your local clock, this EVE time is ##:##". And if it's programmed in a moduler fashion, could be useful in the future if a Corperation Event Planner is ever added to the Accessories...

Why don't you just tell people to use EVE-time. Then people can figure out for themselves what time that is in their respective local timezone.
Also, there's a pretty neat calendar feature built into EVE now. I don't think a lot of people are aware of this yet, but its there. At the bottom of the taskbar.
