I had hoped that you could put Giant Secure Containers in the corp hanger array and each player have their own password protected can for storing datacores, decryptors, etc. Nope. Can't open the can in the hanger, meaning they would need take rights, meaning they could take anyone's can.
Then I tired anchoring a GSC in the POS shield. Again, nope.
There are not enough hanger divisions for each inventor to have their own hanger division that others don't have access to.
Any way to let inventors lock down their goods at the POS so that they, and only they (plus corp officers potentially) have access to them?

If no one is sharing, then what's the problem with personal station hangar of the said players? You still need to fly out to insert the datacores etc. and retrieve the the BPCs etc. Why do you need to put the player's stuff in/near the POS or via GSC (in highsec)? |

- More flying around.
- Session change timers slowing you down.
- Potential camps on the station undock.
- Maybe lack of station in said system. (this applies more to 0.0 space)
Make each member create their own safespot (can be just a few hundred/thousand k away from the POS, as long as it is off-grid) and anchor a secure can there. Don't forget to bookmark the cans! Also don't hang around them for too long, while a can by itself cannot be probed down, a player sitting next to it can. ___________ EVE is dying! Now for real! |

I wracked my brain about the same problem. My solution...none. You already hit on the only secure way to manage things, give people individual hangars. Even if you give them secure containers, any blueprints in the process of copying or researching can get delivered or canceled, then stolen. The only way around this is to lock everyone out of the hangar a particular bp delivers to, save the owner of said bp. If you guys exclusively use cheap BPOs I suppose you can solve the problem with GSCs outside the POS.
Personally, I would just lock out your casual users and give each of your serious industrialists their own tab. I was also able to create more room by asking certain folks who they would be comfortable sharing a tab with. Most people were accommodating. This let me double up on some hangar tabs and fit about 12 people at the POS. Further, this arrangement creates a psychological safeguard, in that everyone will know the thief's identity when only 2 people have tab access and one of them is the victim. This won't stop the blatant thieves, but you should have reasonable trust in people before you let them near your POS anyway.

If you see the new videos from ccp showing that one player gains the trust of a corp and be member of an enemy alliance and how "cool" it is to screw them all, destroying hundred billions of isk with one move ... well then i dont wonder why ccp doesnt want to change the roles and rights. IMHO this security "management" completly fails, is a pain to use and sucks balls. There is no other solution for this then trust. Trying to give limited rights to prevent stealing or destroying is an illusion. Somebody with bad intentions who wants to screw you will always find a way to do that. Read crime & punishment and people are proud to screw other people, just for the tears and the lolz. Then watch closely to the right and rules management and you will see you have no chance to do teamwork safe and secure. Safety is an illusion.
IMHO the only way is to know the telefon number of your corpmates and where their cats live in the garden, so you can take revenge, once they screwed you.
