Originally by: Grimpak there are no effective arazu setups tbh.
Wrong. Arazu and Lach are fantastic tacklers for hit and run style nano HAC / Recon gangs.
I'd say at least one is almost essential for a well rounded gang if they want to reliably take on superior numbers. Your damage dealers being free to use their mobility and range advantage at leisure tends to make things a lot easier.

FC: "Alright, I want three of those BCs tackled, call out your points."
====
Intie pilot: "Uhm, I only have one point, and they are kinda close together, I'll probably lose the point early."
----
Tengu pilot: "Oh well, lets hope you guys get here before they rip me to pieces..."
----
Helios pilot: "Erm, are you f'in kiddin me?"
----
Arazu pilot: "Got it boss, once you guys got backup points I'll keep the rest of them there."
Not your concern if you only attack defenseless ratters, but sometimes the enemy isnt helpless.

Originally by: Grimpak I would say the same thing about the arazu. ripping him a new one compared to the other options isn't really that hard you know...
You missed the point. The other options arent even capable of doing the job as asked.

Originally by: Grimpak thing is, given equal circumstances, they can.
So, how would an Ares point three BCs at the same time? Grow more midslots?
How would the Tengu avoid being tackled in seconds? 30 something km is a tad bit closer than 65 you know?
What does a Helios do in that situation, apart from just instapopping?

I wasnt theorycrafting, my example was taken from practical experience. Arazu / Lach as tackler for HAC / Recon gang.

the arazu would also have problems maintaining 3 points on said BC's because, if it has 3 points that means armor buffer, and armor buffer means as fast as battleship.
Huh? Three points work perfectly fine with a shield buffer. 1750/2500ms is sufficient to keep away from BCs.
I honestly dont see why you'd ever put armor tank on one, you wont keep up with the rest of the gang with that setup.
Only reason I could see is gatecamp with guardian support tbh.
