When I am trying to scan something down, one of the most bothersome things is the fact that I can't see the space that all of my probes are covering, because it's all just boundaries of sphere and nothing changes colors at all.
So why not make it so that volumes that are covered by more than one probes put in a different color to make it easier to see?
2 could be green, 3 could be yellow, 4 could be purple or something, so long as it doesn't make it harder to see the red dots that one is trying to scan down.
Maybe those aren't the best colors, but it's just a thought

how does it being more difficult before apocrypha make it so that it shouldn't be made even better than it is now? That's doesn't make sense.

Easy != better.
It's borderline too easy to scan as it is.

It's already not that hard to tell where they overlap. They are much like a Venn Diagram after all.
This is really unnecessary.

I think its just fine as is. You can see where they overlap already with the different tone, and you can rotate the view to get a look from any side you want, so it doesn't seem like much of an issue. |

There should be visual indications of things like this.
What things were before Apocrypha has nothing to do with anything, that system sucked, and thus it got changed. This system needs refinements, and thus should be refined.

of course this isn't the biggest issue in the world, but honestly, it can't be that hard to implement this, and it would just make scanning look so much nicer and make it much more user friendly.
