That has happened to me before, but logging out and back in has fixed it.

Move your chat window up. 95% likely it's minimized and your chat window is covering it (you shouldn't snap to the bottom, snap to the... snap... just right above that, it lets you see minimized windows.
It also lets you see brackets on the edge as well. I try to leave that little space around the edge for exactly these reasons.

its definitely not that - it happened again and I saw the close button (little x) on the corp window... I gotta get a screencap next time that happens.
and i dont snap to the bottom, i had to reopen all my chat windows cause they were all closed along with corp.
