Remote Armor Repair Animation

TantrixChaos	Posted - 2010.11.04 00:00:00 - [1] So I know this is not world of warcraft, so I have been really wondering why remote armor repair looks like green healing waves flowing over the ship. I would think it would make sence for a remote ARMOR repair animation to look like a welding beam. the animation on the ship would have sparks similair to welding. Rather than this green wave that seems to eminated from a ship. Now maybe theres some fancy LORE reason that EVE is trying to stick to like... They are nanites or some jazz that are fixing the ship. I just think it wouldnt take much effort to make Remote Armor repairing look like it should. Tell me what you think. P.S I miss old cyno jump animations! (needs moar lightning at least)

(needs moar lightning at least) two tea for this sir. yes, agree. if it is scince fiction, lets stick to it all the way. also from personal standpoint. regarding sensor booster effect. aaaargh! the annoyance! this effect is the main reason why i turn effects off. just imagine a fleet with hundred dreads or sniper BS. and all this glowing like maddens. it this really effect of powered up antenas and radars?! i mean, c'mon. doesn't make sense. and don't start me on interdicion bubbles. its a sphere - to scramble navigation computers. and has nothing to do with soap!!
