i underlined the parts you should pay attention to. now you see why your not allowed in the nc anymore.  anymore questions?

No the NC have been getting pretty hurt lately over the public hate. specially if you read up on kugu. I think it might be PL envy or something.
In fairness to the NC they do manage the empire quite effectively and believe it or not having a proper set up on a coalition makes all the difference. Hell with there numbers and size and carebear attraction its only serves to make fantastic roaming grounds and easy cap kills.
Venal is just about the best place in eve you can call home. Best bounty on the rats and best loot from the ratters.

On another note I sort of agree to a certain proportion, although I can think of better alliances as examples for most of the criteria you have mentioned. [Ie: fraps/videos, welcoming new players into 0.0 etc].
At the end of the day 95% of 0.0 sov alliances fall into two categories.
Power Blocks,
Pets
Both are the same no matter what 'side of the fight' you are on.
Both have terrible pets that think 'gate duty' is pvp.
Both have a small selection of vets that only log in when ther is a call on irc.
Both have the less off alliances in the powerblock who aren't pets but they smack to try and make themselves look better.
At the end of the day it doesn't really matter which side you're on in terms of power blocks, it's just a case of where you want to live and or who you enjoy flying with more.
The alliances that break this rule are the ones that have the guts to do something different in their own style, such as Cry havoc and PL [after they lost their space] I guess you could say Tri back in the early days and Stain Empire - who are very underestimated imo.

I just did a very quick search.NC controls over 170 tech moons.This means over 630 BIL per month from moon goo with Jita prices.If you go to Razzor's KB you will find out that 11 months of that moon goo is enough to cover all the losses this alliance ever had.
Now add to this income rents,taxes etc etc and you will realise that there are some smart folks that playing for free,because you,my fellow renter,are their best macro the game will ever provide.You cant be banned,you pay your subscription by yourself and ofc you are paying well to keep others playing for free and telling you that you cant go to "x" alliance because you are not "leet".
Think of that in the next CTA(aka black screen) you will ordered to jump in.You are supposed to play a game for fun and not for beeing a peasant.
