Is this possible?
Dictor sits on gate, cloaks, alone....
Waits for someone to come through, waits for them to decloak and try to warp. As they think no one is on grid. When they appear, decloak and then launch a warp disrupt probe.
Is it possible to launch a probe just after de-cloaking? Is it effected by a delay?

Yep. There's no targeting involved, so cloak targeting delay doesn't factor into launching a warp disrupt probe immediately upon decloaking yourself..
It's a very easy way to selectively pick off unwitting travellers. If you have eyes on the other side of the gates and a pod or shuttle or something that can warp off near instantly jumps into you ... don't wait for them to decloak . There's still, like, a one-second delay between the time you pres decloke butan and when the server acknowledges that you're actually decloaked and able to activate modules. Plenty of time for the little stuff to gtfo.
Bear in mind, if they try to initiate a warp from within the bubble after it goes up but have the wherewithal/luck to burn back to gate, you will be aggressed and unable to follow them to the other side, even if you never got a volley off/pointed them/shot web (again, only if you interrupted a warp attempt).

Yep, and I'll admit I almost got caught by this once when i was being lazy and just initiated warp and recloaked in a helios rather than bursting the MWD first. Sabre pilot came within 5k of me as I slowboated it out of the bubble to where I could warp. This signature space for rent |
