I'm not that familiar with Cartel ships.
How much real incoming damage is a typical Dramiel able to tank respectively able to absorb by its buffer? Approximately...
Thanks! -

You can tank and out dps the vast majority of frigates with a dram. Too bad once you up the vs hull type to destroyer and larger it starts to fail horribly especially if they have full tackle and neuts. Unless of course there is an uber leet wtfpwnu pilot at the drams helm that can manually mitigate the damage from even a titans dd blast. =)

Its actually 6,5-8k for mse dram - depending mse and rigs - usually its t2 mse, t2 em, t1 cdfe and astro/projectile rig, so lets say 7k ehp in average.

Yeah. Too bad its still just a crappy frigate in a capital ship game. =)

Yup. Thats whats so uber about the dram really. You can drop point at will and save your expensive frigate from destruction in nearly any situation you can think up. Your fc might have some issues with you dropping point and running away but who the **** is he anyways? =)

No. By dropping point I mean instead of keeping the target pointed until gangmates can get secondary points you run away instead of holding point till the bitter end. If you are going to fly a tackle frigate then the first thing you should realise is that you are expendable. Dram pilots are selfish as they will simply run away when they start dieing instead of holding point until someone else can take over and guarantee the kill.
The dram is an excellent tackler but alas some mysterious anal retentive self preservation instinct kicks in when a normaly competant frigate pilot boards one.
