How can a pilot with -10 fly around in highsec (0.6) without getting blown away by concord ? He were flying an armageddon, and they are pretty slow.
My point is that he killed my covops in a 0.6 system.
How slow are concord, when they see a -10 piloting a slow bs ?

Concord does not respond simply because a pilot is -10. The navy does however, but they don't warp scram, and even a BS can navigate past them.
It is important to recall that Concord does not provide protection, but consequences.

Seen (been) poped by -10 in trashers. Flying through highsec looking for shuttles sitting on gate hoping you were stupid enough to have something of worth in your cargohold

Bull****. Navy spawns right up your arse with WTFBBQPWNG at =/- -5 no matter where you are and maybe no scramming gate-to-gate but try docking/undocking in anything slower than a nano destroyer. Scram, , jam, neut, pop.

You can have an alt eject from the ship at a safespot and board with the -10 char who has been flying around in a pod. You could use an Orca for smaller ships

You can get a BS into warp in a 0.5-0.8 system easily, especially since the faction navies have a tendency to web before pointing you. Just fit 2-3 istabs in the lows.

Sorry that no one has given you a straight answer GTar. Unfortunately you cannot trust a lot of the pirate types that hang around in this section of the forums. To answer your question more accurately/honestly:
Pirates (or any players) are able to bribe CONCORD and the faction navies using ISK for temporary immunity in any system. You are also able to bribe them to intercede and defend you against these sorts of attacks. In order to "bribe" and pay off an NPC ship, you have to initiate an aggressive attack upon it (fire a turret, use a drone, etc) and then a dialogue box will come up asking how much you want to pay. The more money you pay the NPC ship, the better it will defend you.
Good luck! I hope you avoid such misfortune in the future. ----- My Blog |

Being -10 is like having an open warrant on you. If you cruise past the police waving your turrets around and your stereo pounding then they are gunna be on your ass like the local minority. Now if you manage to come into a system without passing a navy check point... Well thats a completely different matter.

Does it still work where the bigger your ship, the more concord will protect you ?

Navy police does warp scram. But they web you first, so you insta warp if your trying to warp.
@OP did you get smartbombed by any chance. Cause I rly doubt a bs could get even get a lock on a cov ops before navy police kapowed it.

Also, CONCORD will give you a discount if you are flying a nice faction fit ship - they like bling.

Navy. CONCORD.
Two totally different things. Learn about game mechanics before you start dribbling on the forums.
Unlike CONCORD they don't instalock, instascram and instaweb. Their response time varies depending on sec status of the system they're triggered in.

concord only responds if you attack someone without a flag, even then the response time varies between systems, the higher security status, the faster concord arrives
what kind of prevents -10s from flying around highsec is navy police, but they're really easy to avoid, like even if you're -5 you can still go to amarr and buy a ship if you can get it out through navy on gates etc., which again isn't hard

To be perfectly clear:
As a -10 I can jump into any system in empire. upon doing so, the faction's NAVY spawns X number of ships (depends on the security status) after X amount of time (again, depends on sec status). In a 1.0 system, LOTS of navy ships spawn in a SHORT amount of time, and in 0.5, a few spawn, in a long amount of time. It's easily tankable in a battleship. the ONLY time concord EVER interferes is when said -10 sec pirate attacks a neutral anywhere in the system. then concord will pwn face. Otherwise, people can travel through systems without much worry, especially because the navy doesn't scram. Stations are more troublesome because they have 4+ guns on them, that's a lot of dps. Navy and Concord are different entities. _______________________________________________ "If you want to taste the ground, feel free to attack." - Kenshin Himura

On a related topic, what happens if when said navy ships spawn, you shoot at them? Obviously they were intending to shoot anyways and have perma-aggro due to standings or sec status. So if you shoot them, will Concord come knocking? "When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk." |

I've never been neg10 but if it's anything like entering a hostile system whilst being in the militia then yes, you can shoot and kill the navy, at least in a .5 sys. 1.0 spawns 2 BS and 2 cruisers iirc and that might be a bit tough to tank. Ofc killing faction npcs tanks your standing against that faction.
