Are you using Cisco CSM, BigIP F5 or something else?

Edited by: SXYGeeK on 08/11/2010 18:20:14 We've got bigIP F5's doing a lot of our load balancing. Nice piece of hardware. I had to get into writing IRULE script for them to get a solution of "application switching / load balancing" which operates at OSI layer 7. I need the balancer to keep track of which application is running on which server node and route traffic accordingly, but still be able to handle node faults. looks like the cisco has some support out of box for application switching, nice...
What are the load balancers taking over?
We're not to the point where we can hot reinforce a Location node yet are we?
