In the quest of the God Mode of Mining, I was thinking about how a fleet of mining ships could be setup and what would be its efficiency. IIRC, the bonuses of the Fleet Commander (none), the Wing Commander and the Squad Commander stack together in some way. 1)Suppose a fleet composed by a Rorqual as Wing Commander and Orcas as Squad Commanders and then Hulks as Squad members, with the best implants, fitting and skills. How much could mine one of these Hulks. What about Makinaws ans Skiff?

Skiff 99,018.87m3/hr Mackinaw 78,589.75m3/hr Hulk 164,800.00m3/hr
There's nothing the orca can do that the rorqual can't do better. Having redundant weaker boosts from squad commander position won't do anything. You want your squad commander to be one of the ships in the belt with the miners, for emergency squad warps. Orcas are slow for aligns and will just end up being caught --------------------------- Full Explanation of the Industry Index System |

Perfect mining op:
1 orca, 10 hulks /belt
1 small POS, 1 corp hangar, one Roq.
Set up a small POS you park the Roq right next to. The POS only need as much fuel as you need for the enter op. say 24 hours to be safe. bring stront for 24 hours.
The hulks spread out with 10 hulks in each belt and a orca in each belt, moving ore back to the roq.
More than 10 hulks in each belt and it will be a waste of cykle time. The orca haulers cant keep up with more than 10 hulks at a time.
If you want to mine two belts at a time you need 2 orcas, 20 hulks, 1 roq and a small tower.
This is for safeish 0.0 of course... ________________________________________________ Tau - Yeah we suck in close combat. To bad you will never get there. For the greater good!!

I boost with one rorq. at a pos and haul with a second rorq. to a lrg ship assy array about every hour. The boosting rorq. compresses the ore from the assy array. I adjust the fit on the hauling rorq with cap tractor beams, small tractor beams, a net, and web incase it gets tackled. The rorq is just shy of 400k m3, an orca just cant keep up with the volume. This keeps up with 9 hulks and when not hauling i put the hauler back into a hulk that i store at a ship maint array next to the assy array.
