Someone should notice that yearly cost is 131.40Ç for European ppl( not only EU member countries which iceland isnt part of yet, and for rest of world its 131.40USD.
This is something new since november. Before that i could have choosen to pay in Ç or$.
The thing is this isnt the same value. Ç is worth more then $, meaningEuropean ppl pay more for the game then everyone else. Suffice to say that the difference is such that if i pay yearly fee in USD i get 1more month of sub for same value.
I am from Europe but not from EU So our conversion rate makes it even more expensive.
Not many option remain: mask my IP to pay cheaper; buy GTCs which cost more??
I feel stupid because i wanted to pay for this game in Real money - i got lot of isk - but i dont want to be made fool paying more for same thing then others do .
Way to go CCP.

well buy GTC from shattered crystal then, and pay in dollars or if you have plenty of isk pay by plex.

Once the European VAT is deducted, it's obvious that CCP is STEALING 8 EUROS AND 67 CENTS FROM ME EACH YEAR!!!!11!
This is unacceptable, and I demand that CCP lowers the monthly cost with 90 cents per month, OR I WILL ACCUSE THEM OF CAPITALISM!!!

Its been going on for ages. Anyone from the UK gets totally shafted as has done since CCP stopped people in Europe paying in anything other than euros.
Cost to UK player for years sub paying in Euros = ú111.36
Cost to UK player for years sub paying in USD = ú82.12
The original reason was (supposedly) to prevent the effects of currency fluctuations affecting CCP. Well since then the USD has fallen dramatically due to their predilection for printing money, so really there should be a minimum price hike of 25% for people paying in USD, or a 25% reduction for those paying in Euros.
Not going to happen, so you're left with the usual options - suck it up or quit.

Thats ú6.97 more than what you'd pay if you went with the US. prices. That's 58p per month. Stop whining.
Edit: Just noticed that the VAT is slightly lower in the UK which means the numbers are a bit off target, but still, stop whining.

Isn't VAT in the US a state by state thing with some states having no or little VAT?
I personally buy GTC's from EVE time codes and pay US prices for them and I'm from the UK. Shop around people, you can play EVE cheaper than most other MMO's.

As far as I know no states in the US have VAT. We have sales tax, which is charged at retail outlets and of which parts go to the local and state governments, but no VAT.

Alas, they rejected my application.
But truth be told, 90 cents per month isn't really worth complaining over. Especially since most people needs to do some good ol'fashioned tax evasion to get the cheaper price.

But if I am to import GTC's bought in the U.S in a legal way, then I need to pay 32.85 USD in VAT, which brings the price of the U.S. GTC's to 164.25 USD per year, which means there's a difference of 13.6875 USD. Since you pay VAT for the difference as well, we end up with a 10.95 USD revenue for CCP.
That's about 91 cents per month.
Yes, you are whining about CCP earning 91 cents more per month on European players.

I live in EU, but last I checked I paied in US dollars.
Also US dollar is getting worhtless to us in EU, but relative to the national markets doller and EU are much the same.

Pay for game in US dollars
Aussie dollar now at parity with US dollar
No sales taxes on game time
Blue skies and sunshine 50 weeks of the year
Beaches with lots of eyecandy when you get bored of Eve
Downsides
Downtime right in the middle of evening play
oh wait, free run at mining and exploration sites afterwards
And, CCP has reduced downtimes to 15 minutes

ALMOST EVERYTHING of a gaming//entertainment nature that gets sold worldwide will tend to cost the same number amount, but in USD for the US and in EUR for the European countries (including those in the EFTA but not in the EU, as long as they do have a VAT of their own).
Consoles and console games, that's where it's most obvious, conforming to this wonky rule almost always.
It's just "the way things are".
If you really don't like it at all, feel free to buy GTCs for USD from a non-EU retailer.

The same people who think nerfing hisec missions will force people to move to losec, think penalizing Europeans will force them to move to the US.
EVE is available in China and my guess it is even cheaper there.
A decade ago the "European premium" for PC software used to be greater - perhaps double the price.
