Subject says it all, after I close Incursion, it looks like there's a dark overlay on my screen, dosen't happen always tho. I can fix it by starting the game again and going fullscreen/window mode and then exiting it again.

I useto have that with the main client, have you tried setting your ingame colour depth to the same as your windows? (mine was fixed by switching from 32 with 8bit to just 32bit.)

The sisi client doesn't let you change that anymore.

Try disabling aero from the shortcut's properties. (Properties > Compatibility > check Disable desktop composition) |

Ya I've had this with other games before... It has something to do with AA not sure exactly why or how but Windows changes the screen settings when an application using AA (I'm pretty sure its AA of Direct X10 graphics) is used. I think it has more to do with Graphics drivers and the refresh rating on your monitor, then EVE itself. You using an ATI card thats what I'm having it with I remember a few other games I had did this and eventually a patch was released that involved something with the graphic drivers but to fix it all you have to do is swap around the Screen resolution or start another game like EVE Tranquility Server and it will re adjust itself and go back to normal... Actually thinking about the refresh rate know, trying running the game at a lower resolution with a higher refresh rate. Cause resolutions like 1600/900 can usually only be refreshed at 59 to 60HZ.. See if that has a different outcome when you close the App.

Other ways to fix it are:
1) Have the Tranquility Client open in the background. Tab to Tranquility client before tabbing to desktop. Can both fix the darkness and prevent if from happening. 2) Possibly Windows 7 specific: Control + Alt + Delete (Opens Lock Computer, Switch User, Log Off, Change Password, Task Manager list). Then just hit cancel to return to desktop without the dimming.

Curiously, this issue doesn't occur when playing sisi in windowed mode.

Only problem with this is that when it goes live you won't be able to have the Tranq client open...
I had this issue a while ago with the Tranq client when using 30 bit color with 2 bit alpha I think. Only problem now is you can't change your color settings in game so they are most likely locked to 30 bit color with 2 bit alpha and that is why we are all getting this issue.. I'm hoping this is fixed before live because it is EXTREMELY annoying to change the resolution every time I exit.

Always had this problem when selecting 30 bit colour in options, now it seems to force 30 bit colour without the option to change it, are they trying to **** people off?
