Hi,
I'm pretty new to trading, I've just got myself a new matari wreathe and I'm learning the ropes slowly.
I recently bought a load of spirits in the Caldari state, Lonetrek region. At first I didn't know that they were contraband. I thought all the illegal stuff was listed under the narcotics section. Now I can't sell the load of spirits. Even when I fly to a station where there are buy orders, they still refuse my attempt to sell it to them.
Can someone please let me know how I can sell this load of spirits? Being a new player, I didn't have much of a wallet to begin with. Now that I sank all my money into this load of spirits, I'm pretty much stuck.
*sigh* I'm beginning to dislike CCP for this sort of newbie trap. You know how hard it was for me to save money for an industrial ship, and then to nurture a working capital, and now this...

 Hmm, AFAIK, Spirits are not contraband in Caldari systems, so they should still buy the stuff off you; I suspect its a bug.

We've written it off as a bug and won't touch the stuff till someone has made it ok to party once more.

It¦s easy to sell. But have your ever thought of that since it¦s illegal in Armarrian space and stations. That you then can¦t just sell it at Ducia Foundries that IS armarrian?
Goto another station that ain¦t armarr

I see. Well, this whole incident has frightened me to the core.

Bug report it. I've petitioned about it and asked the GM's to direct the issue to the developers.

Yes, I shall petition it. Scared the living daylights out of me. I thought it was the end of the road for me. Sheesh! My entire wallet was in that load of spirits. Could well have finished me off.

I had the EXACT problem an hour ago, 30mil ISK worth of Spirits and couldn't sell it...then I realised that I was tryna sell to an Amarr Station...They should really stop Amar stations from having buy orders for Amar contraband items, confuses trading with the market alot :-/
Oh also it tells you that "Spirits are Contraband" when you undock from any station in Caldari State space, its not correct for Caldari space...

I'm glad to see it's not just me that's done this. 16 mill isk worth of Spirits that I'm unable to sell even though a buy order exists. I've chalked it up to experiance and accepted the loss, but these orders should be removed.

k may as well post this, spirits can be bought by pend insurance stations in placid, havnt checked other regions, hope that helps you stuck people:)
